Closing a business day
In order for a business day to be closed, all its documents (bills and guest tabs) must have the required status.
Note
A business day can only be closed if all bills are paid.
A business day with open guest tabs can be closed, provided that Carry over guest tabs for the is set to Yes.
All bills must be settled before closing a business day.
If the guest tab carry over settings for the division do not allow them to be moved into a new business day, all open guest tabs must be closed before the business day can be closed.
To close a business day, select from the administrator menu.
Closing a business day
If all documents in the business day have the required status (all bills settled and, if necessary, all guest tabs closed), the business day will be closed upon confirmation.
Note
If there is no open business day in the division, the command will be disabled.
