Production record specification element windows
The following windows are used when working with production record specification elements:
The
entry window is opened by the command in the context menu of the and embedded windows.Stock items can be added to the specification as standalone elements or as child elements (ingredients in recipes of compound stock items).
Standalone production record specification element entry window
The production record specification element entry window opens in standalone stock item configuration by default.
Form fields:

Number — number of the production record. Required field.
If the document number has not yet been entered in the Properties tab of the production record entry window, the Number field in this window will be empty.
The production record number is displayed in the , , and operational reports.

Parent — name of the parent element of the stock item.
This field is filled in when the stock item is being added as part of the recipe of another stock item. Selection is made in the window.
If a parent element is selected, the stock item is added as a child element. Otherwise it will be added as a standalone (top-level) element.

Stock item — name of the stock item selected in the embedded stock item selection window. Required field.
This field contains the name of the stock item selected in the
or window.Stock item names are displayed in the , , and operational reports and also in various custom reports.

Volume — amount of the stock item in units of measurement. Required field.
If the stock item was selected in the Volume field defaults to the amount of the stock item on hand.

Unit (stock item) — name of the stock item unit of measurement. Required field.
The name of this field is not displayed in the window.
The value is selected in the window. The value of this field defaults to that specified in the directory.

Index — index of the stock item in the production record specification.
The index field can be used to position items in the specification.

Comment — short comment
Any arbitrary text can be entered into this field as a description of the production record specification element.

Recipe mode — indicates how stock items are included in the production record. Required field.
Value is selected from:

The default value is By stock item concurrence.
If By stock item concurrence is selected for a stock item of the With recipe class, the stock item concurrence selected for the store defines whether recipe ingredients for the stock item need to be entered into the specification.
If Always with recipe is selected, the stock item is entered into the specification along with its ingredients, regardless of whether its concurrence requires this or not.
If Manual is selected, the stock item is entered into the specification without its ingredients, even if its concurrence requires them to be entered.

Selecting
will add the edited data to the production record specification and close the window. Selecting will close the window without saving any changes.Simple stock-items can also be added to the specification as standalone elements.
Tip
If a simple stock item is added to the specification as a standalone (top-level) element, it must have at least one child element.
When saving a production record that contains at least one stock item that has no recipe and no child elements, an error message will be returned.
Production record child specification element entry window
The production record specification child element entry window opens when a parent element is selected in the Parent field.
The child specification element entry window has the following additional fields:

Cold preparation wastage % — percentage of stock item lost during cold preparation.
The value is selected from a drop-down list that contains the names of the cold preparation wastages defined in the directory and an (empty) option that allows the stock item to be entered without defining its cold preparation wastage.
If the directory does not contain any definitions of cold preparation wastage, only the (empty) option will be available for selection.

Nett — net volume of stock item after cold preparation. Required field.
The value in this field is calculated automatically from the values entered into the Volume and Cold preparation wastage % fields.
Nett = Volume - Volume*Cold preparation wastage %/100

Cooking wastage % — percentage of stock item lost during cooking.
The value is selected from a drop-down list that contains the names of the cooking wastages defined in the directory and an (empty) option that allows the stock item to be entered without defining its cooking wastage.
If the directory does not contain any definitions of cooking wastage, only the (empty) option will be available for selection.

Result — net result of the stock item after cold preparation and cooking. Required field.
The value in this field is calculated automatically from the values entered into the Nett and Cooking wastage % fields.
Result = Nett - Nett*Cooking wastage %/100
All the other fields are the same as in the entry window for a top-level element.
The
window opens when adding multiple items to the specification from the clipboard.This entry window displays a pane listing the stock items copied from the clipboard to the production record specification.
The standalone element entry window always opens by default when adding multiple specification elements.
If a parent element is selected in the Parent field, the window will change to the child element entry configuration.
The fields are the same as in the window.
The editor window allows one or more production records to be edited.
The window is opened by the Specification panel when one or more specification elements are selected.

The editor window for a parent specification element has an additional field named Recalculate child elements. This field is enabled when the volume of the parent element is changed.
For a child specification element, the editor window looks like this:
The fields are the same as in the window.
The multiple specification elements editor window opens when more than one specification element is selected for editing.
The title in the window header is
. It has a panel displaying a list of selected elements, with the production record number that they relate to in brackets to the right of each element.Only specification elements of the same type (only complete stock items or only ingredients) can be selected simultaneously for editing.
For multiple standalone specification elements, the editor window looks like this:
If multiple child specification elements in the same production record are selected simultaneously for editing, the editor window looks like this:
Selecting
will add the data to the production record specification and close the window. Selecting will close the window without saving any changes.The production record specification element sequential editor window is opened by the
command when selecting a standalone stock adjustment record specification element.During sequential editing the editor window contains the
and buttons.
The other fields and buttons are the same as in the window.
The production record specification element viewer window allows one or more selected elements to be viewed.
