Computer windows
Windows used for managing directory contents:
Entry window
The window is opened by the command from the directory context menu.
The window contains a second panel named Input devices.
New computer entry window
Form fields in the Properties panel:

Name — computer name. Required field.
The name in this field does not need to be the network name of the computer. It is used to identify the computer in TillyPad XL.

Description — brief description.

Unique number — network name or IP address of the computer. Required field.
Selecting will add the entry to the directory and close the entry window. Selecting will close the window without saving the entry. Selecting will add the entry to the directory without closing the window.
The editor window is opened by the command in the context menu when or computers are selected.
Editor window
If one computer is selected, the editor window will open:

The fields and panels are the same as in the window.
Multiple editor window
When two or more computers are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. It has a panel displaying a list of the selected computers. The title in the window header is .

Changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected computers.
Input devices panel in the Computer window
The Input devices panel is used to specify input devices connected to the computer.

Data grid columns:

Input device — name of the input device.

Computer — name of the computer to which the input device is connected.
Context menu commands:

— add a new input device.

— edit selected input devices.
This command is only available in populated data grids.

— permanently delete selected input devices.
This command is only available in populated data grids.

— print out.

— contains additional commands for working with data grids.
Input devices are added using the window. The and windows are used for editing.
The permanent delete confirmation prompt is used when deleting input devices.
