Fiscal registers
Tillypad XL uses standard fiscal registration devices (cash registers, receipt printers, fiscal registers etc.).
As with any other device in the system, fiscal registers must be added to the directory, where attributes and parameters related to the device driver are specified.
In addition, all fiscal registers are automatically added to the directory, where attributes and parameters related to the physical device are specified. Fiscal register types are stored in the directory.
Note
The directory is not connected with the directory as the parameters of fiscal registers in both directories are different and independent from one another.
Fiscal registers can operate in fiscal and non-fiscal modes.
Fiscal mode is the standard operating mode which provides registration of fiscal data (data about the fiscal register and operations carried out on it).
Non-fiscal mode is usually used for device testing and staff training. Fiscal data is not registered.
