Menu button formats
POS terminals are equipped with input devices for selecting menu groups and menu items, and for entering information. These can be conventional physical keyboards or virtual keyboards displayed on the terminal touchscreen.
Touchscreen buttons have the same functions as conventional keyboard keys.
Buttons are used:
-
for navigation
-
as virtual keys
-
to display commands of the main menu, menu items panes, stock items and payment methods
To display buttons on the terminal screen, in the device options, set the true value for the GridButtons option (under the Show group option).
Show = ( GridButtons = True ... )
A separate format can be specified for each button.
A button format is a set of parameters of colour, size, font, relative position of the text and the picture. Button formats can be created by the user based on predefined styles.
The menu button format is an optional property of menu items in the and directories.
