Draft modifiers
Draft modifiers replace the contents of the directory when the draft they belong to is activated.
Working with the directory is essentially the same as working with the directory.
Modifiers in the are assigned to draft menu items in the directory.
When a new draft is created, the draft modifiers directory contains copies of all the modifiers in the active menu.
All subsequent changes made to the active directory are mirrored in the . If a modifier in the active directory is added, edited or deleted, the same changes will be made in the draft modifiers directory.
Changes that are made in the directory do not affect the active modifiers directory. When a draft modifier is edited, it receives the status Edited, if it is deleted, it is given the status Deleted. If a new item is added to the draft modifiers directory, it is created with the status Added. None of these changes will affect the active modifiers directory until the draft is activated.
When the draft is activated, the contents of its directory become read-only.
A draft modifier consists of one or more groups of items. A group must contain at least one item. Modifier items can be items from the active directory (mirrored in the directory), or draft items from the directory.
Note
Any item in the directory can be specified as a draft modifier, without being included in the directory. In this case the sales parameters for the draft menu item must have the Modifier option set to Yes. It will then not be possible to add the draft menu item to an order on its own.
