POS terminal operating mode windows
The following windows are used when working with terminal operating modes:
Entry window
All of these windows are opened from the directory.
The
entry window is used to add a new terminal operating mode to the directory.The window is opened by the directory.
command from the context menu of theThe window contains the Properties, Parameters and Mode type information panels.
Properties panel fields:

Name — terminal operating mode name. Required field.

Type — terminal operating mode type. Required field.
Selection is made from the
window from the list of generic terminal operating modes. -
Description — brief description.

Security category — security category for the terminal operating mode. Required field.
Selection is made in the window.
The security category enables control over which users can access the terminal operating mode.
In order for an employee to have access to the terminal operating mode, the security category assigned to the mode must be included in the access settings configured for that employee's user role.
Selecting
will add the terminal operating mode to the directory and close the entry window. Selecting will add the terminal operating mode to the directory without closing the window. Selecting will close the window without saving the terminal operating mode.The editor window allows one or more terminal operating modes to be edited.
The editor window is opened by the
command in the context menu when one or more terminal operating modes are selected.Editor window
If one terminal operating mode is selected, the
editor window will open:
The fields and panels are the same as in the window.
Multiple editor window
When two or more terminal operating modes are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. It has a panel displaying a list of the selected terminal operating modes. The title in the window header is

When multiple terminal operating modes are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected terminal operating modes.
The terminal operating mode copy window is used to add a copy of an existing terminal operating mode to the directory.
The window is opened by the
command from the directory context menu.Copy window
If one terminal operating mode is selected, the
window will open.
The fields and panels are the same as in the window.
Multiple copy window
When multiple terminal operating modes are selected for copying, the
window will open. It has a panel displaying the list of selected terminal operating modes. Additional panels are not displayed.
Parameters panel in the POS terminal operating mode window
The Parameters panel contains a multi-linetext field that is used to enter parameters of the device in Tillypad XL POS.
The Parameters panel displays preconfigured parameters for the selected terminal operating mode.
Attention
Preconfigured parameters cannot be deleted or renamed!
To edit the specification, set true or false values for each parameter as required.
Attention
Changing parameters will change the work of the terminal in the selected mode! Changes can only be made by authorised and trained employees.
The specification does not allow changes to be made by the user. The system will ignore any parameters entered manually.

Mode type information pane of the POS terminal operating mode window
The Mode type information pane is used for displaying the information on the type of the terminal operating mode. The pane contains one multiline text field.
