Reasons for restricted POS terminal operations
Certain operations carried out on terminals that require extra attention are referred to as
and are recorded in the system.These operations can only be carried out with the authorisation of an employee with appropriate user privileges.
A reason must be given when carrying out any restricted terminal operation. Reasons that can be specified for carrying out such operations are managed in the
directory.Restricted terminal operations:

deletion (voiding) of guest tabs, orders and order items, including timed services

modification of guest tabs (number of customers, table, privilege, waiter)

reprinting bills

voiding payments

splitting tabs (dividing guest tabs into two, or moving orders between tabs)
These operations are logged for management purposes and can be viewed in operational reports (see ).
