Payment settings

Payment setting consists in setting up rules, according to which bills are paid on the terminal.

In the payment setting the payment types, used to pay for menu items, and sales departments in which these menu items are sold. Printers, fiscal registers and authorisation devices used on the terminal can also be specified in the payment setting.

You can include one or more payment setting elements that define correlation of payment types and sales departments. One payment setting element corresponds to one fiscal register.

Payment settings are defined in the Payment settings directory. Then each POS terminal in the Devices directory is assigned a payment setting.

Only one payment setting can be defined for each terminal. It defines how many receipts are to be created for menu items listed in the bill.

Payment settings are used by Tillypad XL POS.

Terminal panel in the Device window

The Terminal panel is displayed in the window for a device which supports a POS terminal interface. It is used to define parameters of the device on which the Tillypad XL POS application will run.
