Table type windows

Windows used for managing directory contents:

New table type entry window;
Table type and Table types editor windows;
Table type. Copy and Table types. Copies entry windows;
Table type. Import and Table types. Import windows.

Entry window

The New table type is used to add a new table to the directory.

The window is opened by the Add command from the context menu of the Table types directory.

The window contains an additional panel named Specification.

Properties panel fields:

Name — name of the table type. Required field.

The name will be used for grouping and sorting tables by type.
Description — brief description.

Selecting OK will add the item to the directory and close the entry window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving the item. Selecting Apply will add the item to the directory without closing the window.

Editor window

The editor window is opened by the Edit command in the context menu of the viewer window when one or more table types are selected.

The fields and panels are the same as in the New table type window.

Multiple editor window

When two or more table types are selected for editing, the multiple table types editor window will open. It has a panel displaying a list of the selected table types. The title in the window header is Table types.

When multiple table types are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected table types.

Copy window

The table type copy window is used to add a copy of an existing table type to the directory.

The window is opened by the Add copy command from the directory context menu.

When multiple table types are selected, the Table types. Copies window will open. It has a panel displaying the list of selected table types.

Import window

The table type import window is used to import table types from an external file.

To open the window:

select the Import command from the context menu of the Table types directory;
by selecting Open in the standard MS Windows window, open the .tpxl_pltp with one or more table types.

Fields in the window are populated with data from the imported file.

The fields and panels are the same as in the New table type window.

Multiple import window

When the imported file contains multiple table types, the Table types. Import window will open.

Specification panel of the Table type window

The Specification panel contains a data grid with images depicting the various possible statuses that tables can have.

When a new table type is created, the data grid displays all possible table type statuses without images.

Data grid columns:

Type — type the table belongs to.
Status — table status.

The list of statuses is fixed and cannot be edited: Vacant, Occupied; my guest tabs, Occupied; someone else's guest tabs, My guest tabs; in payment and Someone else's guest tabs; in payment.
Image — image that illustrates the table status.
File name — image file.
System — whether the table type is a system object.

Context menu commands:

Edit (F2) — edit table type image.
Print (Ctrl+P) — print out.
Additional functions — contains additional commands for working with data grids.

The Table type image and Table type image windows are used for editing table type images.
