Stock item concurrences

Stock item concurrences determine how compound stock items are added (with or without their recipe items) to the specification of outgoing stock records (sales records, stock-out records, stocktaking records, stock adjustment records and stock transfer records).

For example, when you are doing catering for a reception outside your premises, compound stock items on the remote store must be included in stock documents without their recipe items.

Stock item concurrence is an optional parameter of a stock item. It can be specified when entering a new stock item in the Stock items directory.

Stock item concurrences are used to provide the correct deduction of stock items from store. Stock item concurrences are used when processing stock-out documents only when By stock item concurrence is selected in the Recipe mode field for the compound stock-item in the document specification. Stock item concurrences are used for recalculating stock items.

Note

When stock items are being added to the specifications of stock movement records, stock item concurrences are used on the sending store.

To use stock item concurrences:

Stock item concurrences are managed in the Stock item concurrences directory.
