Segment window
Windows used with segments:

and editor windows.
The editor window is opened by the
command in the context menu when one or more segments are selected.If one segment is selected, the
editor window will open.The window contains the Properties, Subscription and Ports panels.
Properties panel fields:

Name — name of the segment. Required field.

Description — brief description.
Security category — security category assigned to the segment.

The Document prefix fieldset contains a single field:

Value — document prefix included in document numbers of documents created within the segment.

The Help fieldset contains fields for defining the path to the system help file:

Help system server — defines where the help file is located, selection is made from External source or This segment server. If This segment server is selected, the local path to the help file must be entered in the Help file field. If External source is selected, the Network name and Port fields are added to the fieldset.

Help file — local path to the help file. Required if This segment server is selected in the Help system server field.

Network name — network name or IP address of the server on which the help file is located.

Port — port number for connection to the help file server.

The Cost price calculation fieldset contains fields for configuring cost price calculation settings:

Interval — time interval between running cost price calculation.

Recalculation active — whether cost price calculation is active.

The Purchase price recalculation fieldset contains one field for configuring purchase price calculation settings:

Recalculation active — whether purchase price recalculation is active.

The Sales record processing fieldset contains one field for configuring sales record processing settings:

Process active — whether sales record processing is active.

Select
to save changes and close the window. Select to save changes without closing the window. Select to close the window without saving changes.The multiple segments editor window opens when more than one segment is selected for editing.
The name of the window is
. This window includes a panel with a list of the selected segments.
When multiple segments are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected segments.
The fields are the same as in the
window.Ports panel in the Segment window
The Ports panel lists the ports used for connection to the server.
Data grid columns:

Segment — segment to which the port connects.

Port — number of the port that is used to connect to the database.

Type — port type (for connection to segment server or help system server).
Context menu commands:

— edit selected port.
This command is only available when one port is selected.

and windows are used for adding and editing ports.The confirm delete prompt is used when deleting ports.
The port currently used for connection to the database (entered in the Port field of the login window) is illustrated by the icon.
