Buttons

OK — confirms (saves) changes made and closes the window.

Apply — saves changes without closing the window.

Cancel — closes the window without saving changes.

The Additional button is available in top-level editor windows. It opens a menu with additional commands.

Additional button commands:

Change log — adds a panel displaying history of changes made to the element.
Delete — deletes the element.

Some directories allow sequential entry of elements. Sequential entry windows contain an Add> button in place of the OK and Apply buttons. Clicking the Add> button saves the current form and clears it ready for entry of a new element (without closing).

Some directories allow sequential editing of elements. The sequential editor window contains <Edit, Edit> and Cancel buttons. The edit buttons with < and > arrows are used to step back and forwards, respectively, through the set of elements.
