Promotion formulas determine how to calculate discounts (markups) or how to add bonuses applicable to guest's promotion types. A standard promotion type has an SQL query, which defines the way of changing prices of menu items in an order or the way of adding menu items to an order.

Standard promotion types are managed in the Promotion formulas directory.

The directory contains system promotion formulas, i.e. various methods of calculating commonly used discounts, markups and bonuses. The program enables the user to apply the system promotion formulas and create new formulas as well.
