Sales rules allow for different promotion types for customers: various discount and markup systems, earning and spending points when purchasing menu items, providing additional services or giving presents as a reward. When using promotion types, the customers receive privileges in monetary form (discounts, benefits etc.) or in kind (bonus services, complementary dishes from the chef etc.). A reverse situation is also possible if promotion types involve markups or penalty charges. The selling price of the menu item can decrease (when discounting) or increase (when using markups), the order can include additional items that are not paid for by the customer. The attributes for the application of promotion types are the specified privileges.

Promotion types allow you to determine how to calculate the amount of a discount or the number of bonus menu items, to which menu groups and menu items the promotion is applied as well as whether any points are used.
