Payment setting determines the rules, according to which bills are paid on the terminal, and the rules to control payments.

In payment settings you can also specify payment methods, that can be used when paying for sold menu items, and sales departments, in which these menu items are sold. Additionally, you can specify printers, autorisation devices, fiscal registers, conditional codes for sales and payments.

You can include one or more payment setting elements that define correlation of payment methods and sales departments. One payment setting element corresponds to one accounting method (fiscal register).

Payment settings are defined in the Payment settings directory. Then each POS terminal in the Devices directory is assigned a payment setting.

Payment settings determine the way of splitting bill payment, i.e. how many receipts, will be drawn up to pay for menu items included in the bill.
