Table groups are used to arrange the list of tables and to differentiate the access to tables. All tables in the system must belong to a table group.

It is recommended to join tables positioned in the same room (for example, restaurant tables, pool tables, bowling lanes). Table group can have a seating and device layout (room layout) that will be displayed on POS terminals.

List of available table groups can be seen in the Table groups and Tables directories. Table groups are nodes of this expandable list.

Changes made in the Table groups directory become available in the viewing window of the Tables directory and vice versa.
