The table and device monitoring function is a part of the Tillypad XL remote surveillance system. It enables to track the status of tables and devices.

Monitoring can be carried out at the POS terminal or at the manager workstation (in the Tillypad XL Manager monitoring window). The Monitoring window can be opened for each seating and device layout in the Tables directory.

Monitoring enables to track the status of tables and devices, to view current settings of devices, to watch video from cameras in on-line mode (live video) or to watch recordings of a specific day and time.

Tables and devices that are not equipped with displays enable only remote surveillance, which provides images from a video camera looking at this device or table.

Devices with displays (like POS terminals) also have remote view, which shows pictures from the devices themselves.
