Promotion categories are features that define rules of work with clients in the company to promote their loyalty. Promotion categories are used to change standard service conditions depending on various factors: client type, day of the week, time of day, special event etc.
Promotion categories define all discounts and markups on client's orders. Promotion categories are used to set limits for order value, define tips etc.
Discounts and markups are applied to guest tabs with promotion categories. Multiple promotion categories can be applied simultaneously to the same guest tab. In Tillypad XL POS calculations are performed automatically at the stage of order submission, while in Tillypad XL Manager calculations are performed manually using the command.
