Sales rules define discounts and markups applicable to a menu item added to the order.

Sales rules set promotion types, promotion categories and periods of time when promotion categories are applied. In order to specify when certain sales rules are active, the user can make necessary settings for day types.

Sales rules are managed in the Sales rules directory.

Sales rules applicable to the selected promotion categories can be viewed in the Sales rules by promotion categories operational report. The report enables the user to manage sales rules in the same way as the Sales rules directory does.
