The following store documents are used to manage stock items: stock-in records, stock out records, stock movement records, stock adjustment records, butchering records, production records, development records, stocktaking records, sales records.

These data can be used to generate reports over a certain period of time: a shift, a day, a week, a month, a quarter. In order the reports remain valid, no changes can be made to the reference records. To prevent such changes, the store period closure operation is used.

Store period is a period of time specified for a store group. All documents created across all the stores of this store group over the specified period of time belong to this store period.

A store period can be started from a date not earlier than the close date of the previous store period created for the same store group. The close date is entered by the user.

The closure of a store period makes the documents created within this store period ineditable.

Once a store period is closed, all the document created during this time are checked. While the documents are being checked, the Running status is assigned to the store period closure. If the document have been successfully checked, the OK status will be assigned. A store period cannot be closed if any of the following documents have been found:

To allow editing these documents again, you must delete the closed store period.

The information on the closed store periods can be found in the Store period closure settings directory.
