When taking orders at the POS terminal, situations can arise where it is necessary to delete (void) an order or items in an order. In some cases such operations can require deduction of stock items.

A reason must be specified for each deleted order item. The reasons that can be specified are defined in the Reasons for restricted POS terminal operations directory. If stock items are to be deducted, the specified reason must be marked Wastage. Stock item are deducted according to a recipe mode, which denotes whether to deduct a dish or its ingredients.

When deleting stock items with wastage, they will be deducted as if they were sold in the normal way. The stock items associated with menu items that are deleted from orders are included in sales records.

The Deletions from orders with wastage operational report displays a list of menu items that were deleted from orders at POS terminals with resulting wastage of their associated stock items.

The Deletions from orders with wastage operational report displays only menu items that were deleted in Tillypad XL POS . Deletions carried out in Tillypad XL Manager are not included in this operational report.
