Context menu of a data grid item
Context menu of a data grid item

You can select an operation to perform on a data grid item in the context menu. The context menu contains a list of operations that can be performed on a given item as well as a command to close the context menu. At this time, you can only carry out one operation on one item in the data grid. An open context menu prevents you from selecting other data grid items.

To carry out the operation, select the corresponding command in the context menu. To exit the context menu without performing any operation, you must select the Close menu command from the context menu.

Which commands will appear in the context menu depends on the function of the data grid, user's permissions, and the state of the data grid item. Some context menu commands might be unavailable at a given time. Unavailable commands appear in a light grey colour.

Different items in the same data grid can have different context menus.

If a keyboard is used to control the POS terminal, menu entries are numbered beginning with 0. The Close menu command is not numbered. Pressing the keyboard digit key that corresponds to the command is equivalent to selecting this command in the menu.

Along with commands, the context menu can contain submenus. In this case, the name of the menu entry is accompanied by the icon.

The submenu appears close to the original context menu. The row of the context menu from which the submenu was opened is highlighted.

Since the context menu is connected only to the selected item, an empty data grid has no context menu.
