Surveillance objects panel in the Device window

The Surveillance objects panel is displayed in the window of a device that is being used as a surveillance device (IP camera, POS terminal). It is used to specify which objects (devices and/or tables) can be put under surveillance using this device.

Data grid columns on the Surveillance objects panel:

  • Surveillance object is an object (device or table) under surveillance by this device.

  • Device indicates the device used to keep objects under surveillance.

The context menu of the data grid with a list of the surveillance objects contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds objects to the specification from the list of devices and tables stored in the Devices and Tables directories.

  • Edit (F2) – edits surveillance objects in the device specification.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes surveillance objects from the device specification.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new surveillance object to the specification, use the New surveillance object entry window. To edit attributes, use the Surveillance object or Surveillance objects editor windows.

When you delete surveillance objects from the specification, a confirm permanent deletion prompt is used.
