The search for information by ID system allows you to define which objects within Tillypad XL correspond to a given ID.

By using this system you can recognize IDs of any type used in Tillypad XL: magnetic card, smart card, electronic key, barcode, etc. An ID can belong to an employee, regular customer, or external system client; it can be allocated to a guest tab, menu item, or stock item.

When an ID is read, its information is searched in the database of the current system segment. Information about the presented ID is displayed in the Search for information by ID window.
