Import from file window

Import from file window

The Import from file operation window is used to import objects saved in external files with the *.tpxl_exp extension.

Location of the operation window: AdvancedImport from file.

The Import from file command opens the standard Open window, where you can select the file containing the objects to be imported.

When importing from a file, a filter wizard with either one or two steps is started.

The first wizard step is executed if the imported file is missing required object field values. This situation occurs when some of the necessary dependencies between the primary and additional objects have been excluded from export.

In this case, you will need to specify the required field values for the imported objects.

The next filter wizard step is required. Here you need to select the value that will be assigned to the System attribute for all imported objects.

The drop-down list of the System field contains the following value:

  • Do not change – items are downloaded with the same System attribute values as those in the export file.

  • Yes – all items are downloaded from the export file as system items.

  • No – all items are downloaded from the export file as non-system items.

When you press the Finish button, a standard Import from file operation window opens.

Pressing OK will start the import of objects from the file. Selecting Cancel will close the window without importing objects from the external file.
