Abstract

TfmMenuDrafts

A Draft is a collection of changes to be applied to the Menu directory.

Drafts allow you to edit the active menu or create a completely new menu, which can be prepared in advance and then applied instantly, without causing disruption to the active menu during the preparation process.

Using drafts allows several different employees to simultaneously prepare changes to be applied to active menus.

Any number of Drafts can be created and managed in the Drafts directory.

Every draft in the Drafts directory is accompanied by a draft menu, which is accessible via the Draft menu directory.

The rules for working with the Draft menu directory are applicable to the Menu directory as well.

Tillypad XL Manager makes it possible to create, store and edit any number of drafts. A draft can be created by any employee who is authorized to do so. The system tracks the changes made to drafts and stores information about the author of each draft, as well as the date and time of creation.

Every draft has a status. If a draft was created but is not ready to be applied, it will have the Not ready status. In this case, changes can be made to the draft and its draft menu.

If a draft has been created and is ready to be applied (i.e. all necessary changes have been made to its associated draft menu), it will have the Ready status. The draft itself can be edited, but its draft menu cannot. If an activation date is specified for this draft, it will be automatically activated on said date.

If a draft has already been activated, the Active status will be automatically assigned to it. After that no changes can be made to its draft menu.

A previously formulated menu can be activated when needed. The changes made to the Draft menu directory will be applied to the Menu directory.
