Menu picture groups directory

The Menu picture groups directory is used to manage menu picture groups.

The directory is opened from the main menu: MenuMenu picture groups.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the menu picture group.

  • Description is a description of the menu picture group.

  • Parent group refers to the menu picture group to which this menu group belongs.

  • Security level indicates the security category either assigned to the menu picture group or inherited by it.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new menu picture group.

  • Edit (F2) – edits the selected picture groups.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes selected picture groups to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new picture groups to the directory, use the New menu picture group and New menu picture groups entry windows. Attributes of selected picture groups can be altered using the Menu picture group and Menu picture groups editor windows.

When you delete menu picture groups, a confirm deletion prompt appears. All nested groups will be deleted along with the parent menu picture group. All menu pictures nested in the deleted group or in its child groups will also be simultaneously deleted from the Menu pictures directory.

The Select menu picture group window is used to access the directory from fields in other windows.
