To make pricing more flexible, Tillypad XL allows you to give out discounts or change the prices of menu items based on a schedule. Any periods within a business day, be they one-time or recurring, can be organised to create a schedule. These periods, e.g. Lunch time, Lent menu, Bulgarian cuisine day can have special sales rules or price schedules for certain menu items.

For each division you can configure separate day type settings , i.e. specify how day types will apply on certain dates or during recurring time periods.

Day type settings are made for future periods, and the week is chosen as their reference period. The settings become effective at 12 a.m. on Monday of the current week. Settings that are made for a particular day of the week will repeat weekly. However, you can also configure day type settings for special days, i.e. for a certain date or date range.
