Promotion formulas determine how to calculate discounts (or markups) or how to offer the bonuses that accompany a customer's promotion types. A standard promotion type includes an SQL query, which defines how prices of menu items can be changed in an order or how items can be added to an order.

Standard promotion types are managed in the Promotion formulas directory.

The directory contains system promotion formulas, i.e. various methods of calculating commonly used discounts, markups and bonuses. The program enables you to apply the system promotion formulas as well as to create new formulas.
