Payment settings determine the rules according to which bills are paid on terminals, as well as the rules for controlling payments.

In a payment setting you can also specify both the payment methods that can be used when paying for sold menu items and the sales departments in which these menu items are sold. Additionally, you can specify printers, authorisation devices, fiscal registers, conditional codes for sales and payments.

You can include one or more payment setting elements that define the correlation between payment methods and sales departments. One payment setting element corresponds to one accounting method (fiscal register).

Payment settings are defined in the Payment settings directory. Then each POS terminal in the Devices directory is assigned a payment setting.

This payment setting determines how bill payments are split, i.e. how many receipts will be drawn up to pay for the menu items included in the bill.

Payment settings are used in Tillypad XL POS.
