Stock item groups are used to combine stock items into logical groups for ease of use.

Available stock item groups are listed in the data grids of the Stock items and Stock item groups directories.

Each stock item group can be composed of other groups. A stock item group with other groups inside is the parent group for these nested groups (child groups).

Changes made in the Stock item groups directory are applied to the Stock items directory, and vice versa.
