Errors when closing store periods

Errors when closing store periods

Revision History

The Errors when closing store periods operational report is used to view information about errors returned when store periods are closed.

As a result of the store period closure, stock-in and stock-out documents created earlier than the specified date become locked for changes. Data contained in these documents are not used for processing other documents by the storekeeping system.

Three types of errors can occur when store periods are closed: The first type of error is related to the depletion of stock before it has been received in the store. That is, stock-in records were created after the closure of the stock period. The second type of error is related to the depletion of stock that was never received, i.e. stock-out does not correspond to any stock-in. The third type of error is related to situations when the store period contains documents that have not yet been processed.

The operational report can be generated for selected store groups or for selected closed store periods:

The Errors when closing store periods by store group operational report is used to view documents with errors returned when store periods were closed. These documents can be created for any date for all stores belonging to the selected store group.

However, the Errors when closing store periods by closed period operational report refers only to those documents that were created within the selected closed store periods.
