With Tillypad XL Manager, you can automatically perform certain operations (generic tasks) according to schedules set by users. Task types outline the procedure of preliminary data selection as well as the operations performed on these data. Operations are set forth as queries in the Transact SQL language.

Task types are managed in the Task types directory.

System task types are created by the developer and cannot be edited or deleted from the directory. However, you can create, edit, and delete other task types.
