How to set up a timed service

Chapter 21. How to set up a timed service

Revision History

A timed service is a menu item, the price of which depends on how long the service is ordered for. The price of the timed service is determined in the Menu directory with reference to a set time unit, usually by the hour or minute.

If the timed service requires the use of equipment (e.g. a pool table, bowling lane), you must specify a control device and a table for this service.

Timed service configuration

You must configure the timed service settings if you wish to provide your clients such services.

The menu contains the Pool service, the cost of which depends on how long the customer wishes to play. This service is provided at the table Pool table 1. The pool table is controlled by the device Lamp 1.

You need to specify the table Pool table 1 for the menu item Pool. The table must be linked to the control device Lamp 1.
