In order to operate, some devices of the Tillypad XL system need other devices. For example, to create a messaging system, you need to connect pagers to a paging station. The devices that can be used by this device are defined in its software module attributes.

When configuring settings, you can specify devices in the attributes of some objects of the system (divisions, authorisation devices, fiscal registers, sales settings, payment settings, tables, etc.).

Often you need to define which device or object of the system is connected to the selected device and what its role is.
