The divisions of a business are often located in different places. Branches of a small enterprise may be scattered across a city, while the locations of a larger chain might even be spread out across different countries. In order to manage these branches, it is important to have information about where they are located.

This information is presented in Tillypad XL using locations.

Locations are specified for divisions, stores, and devices. For stores and divisions, location is specified directly as an attribute of the object. For devices, location is specified through the device loaders to which they are connected. Locations are also specified for employee paging devices.
