Table groups

Table groups

Revision History

Table groups are used to arrange lists of tables and to differentiate access to tables. Each table must belong to a table group.

Usually, tables located in the same room are joined into a group (e.g. restaurant tables, pool tables, bowling lanes). A seating and device layout can be composed for a table group. This layout will be displayed on POS terminals.

Lists of available table groups are displayed in the data grids of the Table groups and Tables directories. Table groups form the nodes of the tables tree list.

Each group is allocated a security level, which allows you to manage who can access the group. The access settings configured for this security level determine whether the items of the group can be viewed and selected. This concerns all items that do not have individualised security levels allocated to them.

Changes made to the Table groups directory will also apply to the Tables directory, and vice versa.
