Recycle bin

Revision History

Objects in Tillypad XL Manager are deleted in one of two ways. Directory groups and items are deleted to the Recycle bin, from which they can subsequently be restored. Items in lists, document lists, settings directories and item specifications are deleted permanently and cannot be restored.

If you try to delete an object, a confirmation prompt will appear. The confirmation prompt will vary depending on the type of deletion: restorable or permanent.

Pressing Yes in the confirmation prompt deletes the selected items or groups.

When a group is deleted, all of its nested groups and items are also deleted.

If the restorable option is used, the details of the deleted object are stored in the Recycle bin list. The Recycle bin allows you to find previously deleted objects and restore them to their original directories.

All deleted directory items are automatically sent to the Recycle bin. When you restore items, they are also automatically removed from the Recycle bin and sent back to the corresponding directory. You cannot make changes to the list of deleted objects or delete them from the Recycle bin manually.
