Functions panel in the Report window

The Functions panel is used to manage the context menu functions in data grids of the report viewing windows.

The Functions panel is used to manage the commands that can be included into data grid context menus. By clicking the command, you will perform the corresponding function: opening an operational report window or an editor window.

The Functions panel data grid is composed of the following fields:

  • Name indicates the name of the context menu command.

  • Function is the default name of the function.

  • Visibility condition indicates the conditions under which the function will be visible in the context menu.

  • Accessibility condition indicates the conditions under which the function will be accessible in the context menu.

  • Data set is the name of the data set received from the query.

  • Index is the sequence order in which the function (command) is located in the context menu of the report viewing window.

The Functions context menu contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a function to the report specification.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of existing functions.

  • Delete (Del) – permanently deletes functions from the report specification.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add a new report function, use the New report function entry window. To edit function attributes, use the Report function editor window.

A permanent delete confirmation prompt appears when you delete functions from the report specification.
