How to configure current on hand calculation

Chapter 18. How to configure current on hand calculation

Revision History

The Stock on hand operational report does not always show data about the stock on hand at the current time.

First of all, the Cost price calculation task that calculates the stock on hand is run on a schedule; therefore, situations may occur when the actual stock on hand has been changed, while the calculated balance remains the same. Second, the cost price calculation can be carried out in a different segment without a permanent connection, or the calculated data can come in on a schedule.

The Current on hand operational report provides information about the current stock on hand and allows you to manage the availability and consumption of stock items in the store as sales are made. The report also gives you information so that you can renew supplies in the store on time.

Current on hand denotes the quantity of the stock in the store. This value has been calculated for the current moment according to all store documents. For stock movement operations, the stock on hand is calculated for both the sending and recipient stores. In order to account for sales of menu items accompanied by stock deduction, you need to process these sales records in the given division.
