How to set up stock item concurrences

Chapter 17. How to set up stock item concurrences

Revision History

Stock item concurrences allow you to include compound stock items into stock-out document specifications (sales records, stock-out records, stocktaking records, stock adjustment records, and stock movement records) without their recipe items.

In this case, the compound items themselves will be spent in the store instead of the simple stock items and semi-finished products that were used to prepare them.

Stock item concurrence configuration

A stock item concurrence needs to be configured for a store if compound stock items (semi-finished products) are manufactured in one store, but their consumption operations are run in a different store.

A new store, Meals on wheels, has been created in the restaurant. This store sells sausage rolls, which are produced in the Kitchen store.

You need to configure the Catering stock item concurrence for the Meals on wheels store in order to deduct the compound stock item rather than its ingredients from the store.
