Selection window with a filter

Selection window with a filter

This type of selection window is only available if you are working on a POS terminal with the touch screen.

The selection window with a filter contains a numeric keypad, as well as the Cancel, Back and Next keys.

The selection window with a filter is used when selection codes can be used to select items, e.g. customers' table numbers.

When you enter the code, the data grid of the selection window will only display items with codes containing the entered values. Once you start entering a code, the Cancel button will be replaced with the Clear filter button, which allows you to clear the previously entered code.

If the entered code does not match the code of any item, the selection window with a filter will display an empty data grid.

If the OperateButtons parameter (Show group) in the POS terminal settings is set to False, the selection window with a filter will not differ from the standard selection window.
