ID groups directory

The ID groups directory is used to manage employees' and customers' ID groups.

Location of the directory: AdvancedDirectoriesID groups.

A tree-structured list of ID groups will be displayed in the viewing window data grid.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the ID group.

  • Description is a description of the ID group.

  • Security level is the security level assigned to the ID group.

  • Parent group is the ID group containing this group.

  • Suspended is an attribute showing whether the ID group has been temporarily suspended or not.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new ID group to the directory.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of ID groups.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes ID groups to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

In order to add new ID groups to the directory, please use the New ID group and New ID groups entry windows. To edit directory contents, use the ID group and ID groups editor windows.

When deleting ID groups from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears. Along with the ID groups, the IDs and groups contained therein are also deleted.

To select an ID group in entry and editor windows, please use the Select ID group window.
