Language packs directory

The Language packs directory is used to manage language packs, i.e. sets of languages used by employees, regular customers, and devices.

Location of the directory: Advanced - Directories - Language packs.

Data grid columns:

  • Name is the name of the language pack.

  • Description is a brief text description of the language pack.

  • Security level is the security level assigned to the language pack.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new language pack.

  • Edit (F2) – edits language pack attributes.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes language packs from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new language packs to the directory, use the New language pack and New language packs entry windows.

To edit language pack attributes, use the Language pack or Language packs editor windows.

When deleting language packs from the Language packs directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

The Select language pack window is used to select language packs from window fields. The Select language window is used to select a language.
