Employee paging device window

Windows used for managing directory contents:

All of these windows are opened from the Employee paging devices settings directory data grid.

You can open the editor window by using the Edit command. In this window, you can modify attributes of one or more employee paging devices.

If one item is selected in the data grid, the Employee paging device editor window will open:

Window fields:

  • Location is the location of the notification device assigned to the employee. This is a required field.

    Please select a location in the Select location window.

  • Device is the notification device assigned to the employee.

    Please select a device in the Select device window. The Select device window contains the devices specified in the location specification.

  • Date is the date when the employee received the notification device.

    In the editor window, this field is read-only. It can be edited in the New employee paging device entry window only.

  • Employee is the employee who was given the notification device. This is a required field.

    Please select an employee in the Select employee window.

  • Operator is the employee who configured the settings. This is a required field.

    Please select the operator in the Select employee window. The username of the employee who is logged in to the system is displayed by default.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Apply will save data without closing the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

If two or more entries are selected in the data grid, the multiple editor window opens. The name of the editor window changes to Employee paging devices. The editor window displays a panel with a list of the selected settings (employee and name of notification device).

When multiple items are selected for editing, any changes in the window fields will be applied to all of the selected settings.

The fields are similar to those in the Employee paging device window.

You can open the New employee paging device entry window by using the Add command. From here, you can register an employee paging device.
