Partners directory

The Partners directory is used to manage all information related to partners.

Location of the directory: TransactionsDirectoriesPartners.

The directory window contains a tree list of partner groups and partners themselves. Only partner groups can be root elements of the list. However, both partner groups and individual partners can be child elements of the list.

The data grid of the Partners directory displays only partner attributes and names of partner groups. You can view the attributes of partner groups in the Partner groups directory.

Data grid columns:

  • Name indicates the name of the partner or partner group.

  • Description is a brief description of the partner.

  • Personal profile is a link to the personal profile of a partner representative.

    Usually, the representative's surname and initials are displayed here.

  • Company denotes the partner company.

  • Document prefix is a prefix that can automatically be added to the numbers of documents that are formulated for store transactions with partners.

  • TIN is the tax identification number (TIN) of the partner.

  • Security level denotes the security level assigned to the partner.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

The context menu of the directory contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds information about a new partner to the directory.

  • Add group (Alt+Ins) – adds a new partner group.

  • Edit (F2) – edits attributes of partners and partner groups.

  • Delete (Del) – removes partners and partner groups from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Stock-in records – opens a window to view the list of stock-in records for selected partners.

  • Return delivery notes – opens a window to view the list of return delivery notes for selected partners.

  • Stock-out records – opens a window to view the list of stock-out records for selected partners.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add information about new partners to the directory, use the New partner and New partners entry windows. To edit partner attributes, use the Partner or Partners editor windows.

To add new partner groups to the directory, use the New partner group and New partner groups entry windows. To edit the attributes of partner groups, use the Partner group or Partner groups editor windows.

When you delete partners and partner groups from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears.

To select directory elements from other directory windows, use the Select partner window. To select partner groups, use the Select partner group window.
