Partner groups directory

The Partner groups directory is used to manage the groups in which your business's partners are classified.

Location of the directory: TransactionsDirectoriesPartner groups.

Data grid columns:

  • Name denotes the name of the partner group.

  • Description is a description of the partner group.

  • Parent group indicates the name of the partner group to which this group belongs.

  • Security level indicates the security level assigned to the partner group.

  • System is a tag identifying system objects.

Context menu of thePartner groups directory data grid contains the following commands:

  • Add (Ins) – adds a new partner group.

  • Edit (F2) – edits partner groups.

  • Delete (Del) – deletes partner groups from the directory to the Recycle bin.

  • Export – menu with the commands to export files into an external file or update package.

  • Clipboard – menu with the commands to operate the clipboard.

  • Print (Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.

  • Summary functions – menu with the commands to manage the summary functions of the data grid.

  • Additional functions – menu with the commands to operate the data grid.

To add new groups to the directory, use the New partner group and New partner groups entry windows. To edit directory contents, use the Partner group or Partner groups editor windows.

When you delete partner groups from the directory, a confirmation prompt appears. When parent partner groups are deleted, their nested child partner groups are also deleted from the Partner groups directory. Upon partner group deletion, nested partners and partner groups are also deleted from the Partners directory.

To select partner groups in entry and editor windows, use the Select partner group window.
