The Business day processing task is used to process business days and prepare data for the Sales record processing task.

The task must be performed on the segments responsible for sales.

The task processes business days for the divisions that belong to this segment.

The business day processing mode in each division is indicated in the Divisions directory. It determines how sales records are created and registered after menu items have been sold during the course of the business days.

The task is started if the Processing field is set to Active. The task starts when the business day is closed if the Interval field is set to On day close. Alternatively, the task starts after the specified interval is over if you have selected one of the following options: Less than 24-hour period or More than 24-hour period .

This task is not resource-intensive. However, if the segment where the task is performed has performance issues, we recommend starting the task when the load on the segment is minimal.
