There are two ways to log registered users into Tillypad XL POS: regular and easy login.
These methods are set up in Tillypad XL Manager. To set up the method you wish to use, you must change the SimpleLogon parameter for a specific POS terminal from False (for the regular mode, selected by default) to True (for easy login mode) or vice versa.
When using the ordinary login method, a blank screen is displayed after you turn on the device. You can then enter the system using your ID.
When using the easy login method, the start screen will appear after you turn on the device. This screen contains a list of registered users.
The employee should choose him/herself from the list and enter his/her password or, if this option has been set up in this employee's settings, a quick authorisation numerical code.
After you enter the program, the following will open:
either the screen to select a mode — for an employee starting work for the first time* or who has already worked in the program and finished a session.
* — with the exception of an employee who only has access to one work mode. For this kind of employee, after his/her first login into the system, the start screen of the corresponding mode will open;
or the window in which the employee was working before he/she closed the application.
